back in 1968 bob wise opened a small shop on wawona street where he shaped and
glassed surfboards for the local surfing community. as surfing grew, bob began selling
boards from some of the world's most acclaimed shapers. today, our state of the art shop
houses hundreds of surfboards, everything from fish to longboards and more wetsuits than
you've ever seen.

i am sad to announce that after 51 years in business we
closed wise surfboards at the end of 2019.
the fixed costs of doing business are just too great!
and increasing online and direct sales from manufacturers
have destroyed the business we once enjoyed.
most importantly i would like to thank our loyal customers
and friends who have made it possible for myself and my
employees to make a living working in the surf business.
